USB requires more power message

I had the same problem when I was bought my series 5 tcl roku tv. It popped up, I was not using the usb port. I replaced the main board. The problem was fixed. Now I plugged in a powered my book drive.it worked for a month. Now the warning is back and I can't get it to go away. This tells me that this is not a hardware issue. Any suggestions other than using it as a boat anchor?

This might be a hardware-related problem. Have you attempted calling TV support to get more information yet? I'd advise beginning there to see what choices or recommendations they can make. Direct support is offered by each Roku TV maker for their models that run the Roku OS.
