USB as one of the inputs for Onn TV

I have a Roku Onn TV. When I insert a USB drive the TV recognizes the USB and prompts "Allow access to external media". Selecting Allow will then show the JPG picture or MP3 music files I can select. It only becomes an input device when physically inserting the USB drive. I want to leave it permanently inserted and select the USB as input. But, USB is not one of the input devices.     The USB port isn't one of the inputs, as you've seen.  Launch Roku Media Player if you want to access the media on your USB device.
