Upstairs remote controlling downstairs TV -- help needed
One of us has a Samsung TV upstairs and the other has one downstairs. Sometimes the remote for the upstairs TV turns on the downstairs TV by accident. Is there a way to prevent this?

We appreciate your inquiry about preventing an IR remote from controlling multiple TVs. A commonly suggested approach is to gently block the IR receiver on the TV you wish to exclude from control and reposition the TVs or consider a more directional remote may help focus the IR signal on just one TV.
In addition, you can use our Roku voice remote, which is easy to set up. Please note that the voice remote will only control the TV it is paired with. If you have a voice remote for each TV, you won’t need to worry about blocking the IR window on either set.
