Turn off screen reader
Wondering if anyone can help me. I accidentally set up some kind of constant voice over reader that reads aloud everything that is said on the tv, including instructions like ‘powering off’ but also every word that anyone says on the program I’m watching right accross all applications including live tv. How do I turn it off?

Having trouble with the screen reader activating unexpectedly while you're streaming? You can disable it directly from your Roku device settings.
Go to Settings > Accessibility > Screen Reader to customize your experience. If the screen reader shortcut is enabled, you can quickly toggle it on or off by pressing the Star (*) button four times from any screen. If the shortcut is disabled, pressing Star four times will have no effect.
