I don't understand why Roku hasn't done anything to correct the problem. Basically, they're selling defective hardware.
I'm also blaming the Verizon router. It's several years old & it's some distance from the bedroom where the stick is & the WiFi signal has to go thru wood & drywall.
Yesterday, I was watching some TV & noticed the spinning circle. The TV was buffering. Sometimes my phone pops up a message telling me that the WiFi has been disconnected. I'd say that the router is dying.
I chose Roku because I like the simplicity of the home page. I don't like the cluttered look of Chromecast & Fire TV.
I charged the stick to my Best Buy account. It's too late to return it to Best Buy for a credit.
I suppose that the return procedure is simple enough. What is the procedure? What proof of purchase do I need? Can Roku get Best Buy to put a credit on my Best Buy card or does Roku refund the money?
