The microphone button is no longer working

Hello. Recently my roku’s microphone stopped functioning. It says it can’t hear me. I tried new batteries, disconnecting the power cord, re-pairing - multiple times. Firmware is updated. Nothing interfering with the signal. Still not working. Please advise. Thanks.

    We’ve noted the issue with the microphone button on your Roku remote. Great to know you’ve already taken steps to troubleshoot. 

    Consider trying these steps: Reset the Roku remote

    1. Remove both batteries
    2. Press any two buttons
    3. Reinsert batteries (negative end first)

      Hi. I did those 3 steps but the pairing light wouldn’t stop flashing. The only button that worked was the red on/off button. When I turned it back on the pairing light was still flashing and the buttons  wouldn’t work. I disconnected the device from its power cord and when it came back on my tv showed that it was pairing. Now everything works except the microphone.

        Thank you for completing the troubleshooting steps we requested. Could you please confirm whether the Roku remote you're using originally came with your Roku device? If not, could you let us know when and where you purchased it?
