I've seen this myself and others have reported the same thing. I can't remember exactly what it took to get rid of it, but start with a "System restart" and/or "Software update" located under Settings->System (or possibly Settings->System->Power in the case of "System restart").

Thanks for your replay however I have performed a "System restart, Software update, and Factory reset" many times. The issue is persistent.

So, renojim in the technical aspect your "Community Streaming Expert" badge is not a job status, and as you state, "I am not a Roku employee" and therefore you cannot provide any helpful information or real solutions associated with the disappearance of the (* for options) button that is not being displayed on the Home page 1st position top left channel tile app. Yes, this is true we have been through this before and you knowing this have no real reason to replay to my question. Roku makes changes to my device as needed when they choose to do so. Perhaps I need to contact Roku agents directly for this issue. I have performed ALL of the recommended troubleshooting steps many times however the issue still persists. It is only a personal preference to have each individual channel tile apps to display the * for options button. What is the point for having this option when it does not display properly. Your "Haven't we been through this before?" replay to my question is immaterial.
