TCL Roku TV blank screen

This is the second roku tv i done brought and it has gone out within a year. This is just ridiculous the amount of people i have located with this sane issue. I had the Rolu TCL for a year. I wish i went with Samsung. While watching tv the screen automatically went blank. You can still hear the sounds the remote clicking and everything. I have done all the unplugging, resetting you could think of. Have hitting the rest button on back of tv and selecting home up button fast forward button and rewind button still nothing. Now the tv come om and ask to rest language or it shows tcl symbol and still fades away it wont allow you to select anything. I say all this to say Roku is well aware of the hardware malfunctions and issues and wont do anything about it. We have to come together and hold these companies accountable for scamming us out money. I have files a complaint with BBB on hopes to raise this issue

    While the TV is powered on, use a flashlight and put it close to the screen. If you can see the menu items, then the LED backlight is bad. This could be bad LEDs or a bad controller. Since the TCL logo comes on the screen then fades, it is likely a bad light controller. Contact TCL if it is still under warranty. If not you could try to repair it, but I would just replace it.
