Stuck on Pairing remote screen

My tv screen has the following on it and I can’t get rid of it. Three circles each showing a different part of the remote. And a bar code box. When I reset the Roku stick and it asks me what language I want to use, it goes to this screen and I can’t get out of it. Also, I changed the batteries.

    You can try these steps to repair your remote.

    1. Hold the pairing button for 5 seconds, or use the Home and Back buttons on your remote if there's no pairing button.
    2. Restart your Roku device (by removing the power cord from your Roku device and reconnecting after five seconds).
