Stop adding stuff to my Home screen/menu/etc.
this has almost certainly been beaten to death in multiple threads on multiple topics. i don't care. this is my first post, and quite possibly my last. so:

Update...
Just hit my limit with this... And found 1 or 2 things that have helped. So far I've only noticed the ad pane being removed from my home screen. Can't confirm that the constant additions of **bleep** into my menu items will change. But here's what I did. (Copy and pasted some stuff below but I've made corrections where it didn't work for me initially.)
Remove ad banner from right side of home screen:
- Enter "Secret Menu"
Press the Home button five times, then UP, RIGHT, DOWN, LEFT, UP. FYI: the Roku doesn't realize what you're doing so every button press acts accordingly on your screen. Rest assured, if you do it right, it works. (DISCLOSURE: I tried a number of different ways to access the secret menu. If this method doesn't work, do a web search for the different ways to access the secret menu.) This is just the one that worked for me.
- Once you access the secret menu, make these adjustments...
- Select Cycle Scrollable Ads from the second menu
- Change it to Always Disabled
- Select Cycle Home Screen
- Select Add Banner Service
- Select Demo Three
I also added a pin to my Roku.com account for purchases AND ADDING new channels. Let ya know if that fixes the bevy of new **bleep** up my menu item feed.
