Software upgrade stopped my Logitech remote from controlling Roku Express 4K+

Last week there was some kind of software upgrade on my 4K+ unit. Now my Logitech IR remote has no buttons that work with the Roku unit. Spent time with Logitech LIVE second level support who made changes to my remote profile to accept all Roku hex codes, to no avail. I can't even get the Logitech to learn codes from the Roku remote. They told me to contact Roku, but there is no live support for this product, which sucks. Since I have already purchased 2 replacement Roku remotes due to early failure, This takes the cake. If anybody knows how to fix this I would love to know how.
