Software Update TCL Roku TV Not Updating !

I have two identical model TCL HDTVs.  I noticed on one of them it updated to the latest Roku firmware 14.1.4 on 12/12/2024 while the other TV is still stuck on 14.0.1 11/11/2024.  I performed a manual update several times and it still does not see the new firmware and both have strong Wi-Fi connections.  Does Roku use serial numbers to update their firmware by batches or what ?

    All Roku TV models and Roku streaming players are designed to ensure they are always running the latest version of the software. Your Roku device will check to see whether new software is available for download during initial setup and whenever the Roku device is powered on, and then randomly every 24-36 hours. The download and installation are done automatically without ever interrupting your use of the Roku device. Any Roku peripherals, such as Roku wireless speakers or a Roku subwoofer, will automatically be updated alongside your TV or streaming player.

    Nobody knows what criteria Roku uses to decide when to update their devices, but it's not at all unusual to have identical devices receive updates weeks or even months apart.
