Screen turns green when game system on

This just started today Nov 11th 2024. I went to turn in my ps5 and the screen turned green. All the sound is there but the screen is not. It says HDR when it switches to the input. Everything else works but this. I tried a different hdmi port and still nothing. There is no option for me to disable hdr in the secret menu nor is there a display type. 50” onn Roku

Thank you for informing us that you are experiencing a green screen issue on your Roku TV when your PlayStation game system is turned on. We would be more than happy to assist you with this.

We suggest you try the following troubleshooting steps and see if this works for you.

    System restart your Roku TV:

    1. Press Home on your Roku remote
    2. Scroll and select Settings
    3. Select System
    4. Select Power. If you do not see a Power submenu, skip to the next step.
    5. Select System restart

If the issue persists, try connecting your PlayStation to a different television and see if the same issue occurs.

If your screen turns green when you turn on your game system, it’s usually an issue with the HDMI connection or the video settings. First, try unplugging the HDMI cable from both your console and TV, then plug it back in. If that doesn’t help, try using a different HDMI port or even a different cable to rule out any hardware issues.

Sometimes, a simple restart can fix weird glitches like this. Turn off both your console and TV, unplug them for a minute, and then turn them back on. If you’re using a Roku TV, doing a system restart from the settings menu might help too.

If the green screen is still there, check your console’s display settings. You might need to lower the resolution or turn off HDR if your TV isn’t handling it well. If you can’t see the screen to do this, try booting your console in safe mode (if it has one) and resetting the video settings.

Finally, if nothing works, try plugging your console into a different TV or monitor. If it works fine there, the issue is likely with your original TV. If the green screen follows your console, it could be a problem with the system itself.
