screen display will not go off and cannot use remote while apps are on

screen with different apps comes on when we turn on tv. cannot use remote while it is on for at least 1-2 minutes. how do i get it off and back to the fish

You can define the amount of time your Roku device waits before starting the screensaver using the following instructions:.

  1. Open the Theme menu using steps 1–3 above
  2. Select Screensaver wait time
  3. Choose the amount of time to wait, or choose to disable the screensaver
  4. Press OK  on your Roku remote to save

    it says to sign into theme screen and then follow steps 1-3 but doesn't say what steps 1-3 are??????

      Steps 1 through 3 are: Press Home on the remote, select Settings, select Theme.

      I’m not sure if this will fix your issue because I’m not sure I understand what the issue is.
