Samsung's 8 series starting screen

When I power Roku, the first thing I see is my TV apps making a flash at the bottom of my screen for a few seconds before Roku's screen shows up. Is there a way to have Roku right up without going into my Samsung apps and system?

    It doesn't really have anything to do with Roku; it's a Samsung setting.  I don't have an 8 series, but on my Samsung the "Start Screen" setting is under "General & Privacy".  Turn off "Start with Smart Hub".
