Ditto. Smart View from my S23 and my S7 Tab have just stop connecting to my Roku Ultra. The message I keep getting is "Can't open app" ... 'RokuCast' could not run because it could not be reinstalled for the network..."
It's worked for the past 2 years for me without an issue. Now all of a sudden it stops
Hey, slindenmuth
It seems you're experiencing issues using Smart View on your Samsung S23 with your Roku Ultra. Let's get more details on this.
- What steps have you already tried to fix the issue?
- When did the issue first start?
- Have you tried screencasting on the other Roku device to see if it displays the same error message?
- Can you send a photo of the error so we can take a look?
Looking forward to your reply!

Hi. Thank you for reaching out. I'll answer your questions with a bulleted list in the same order of your questions.
*I've tried connecting to the same network although I've never had to do that before
*It stopped working a week or two ago
*I can still connect to the TCL TV with Roku built in just not to the Roku Ultra itself.
*I've always have been able to connect to the Roku Ultra with my Samsung's Smart view
*I'm not sure how to leave a picture here for you. I don't see that option available. The message is in a white box and says "Can't open app Roku - RokuCast could not be run because it could not be reinstalled from the network. Please check your network connection and try again."
I prefer using the Roku Ultra instead of the built-in one on the TCL TV. The Roku Ultras picture comes in at a much better quality. Smart view has always worked from my phone or even from my S7 tablet and my device and Roku never had to be on the same network. That's what Screen View is all about. It has just stopped working the past week or two. I've been closed screenshots and pictures.

Steve
