Roku will not let me connect

I’m having this same problem if you’ve fixed it can you let me know how you did it.

  • Hi, 5818!

Welcome, and thanks for posting in the Roku Community!

We saw your post regarding the issue with your Roku device not connecting to your TV, resulting in a "No Signal" message. No problem, let's take a closer look and sort out this ongoing issue. If you're still seeing a light indicator that the device is being powered. You can try a different HDMI port, try another HDMI cable, or try connecting the Roku device to another TV and see if that reproduces the same issue.

If the problem persists, you can set a factory default on the device and see if that helps. You can visit our support page here on how to proceed: How do I factory reset my Roku® streaming device?

    We hope this helps.

    Thanks,
    Elmer

HDMI tv comes,on, but remote does not connect to streaming.  Nothing works with remote.  Wasting my time for three nights now.  I feel irate.  I’ve only had this thing for since last November.

  • My Roku tv is doing the same, starts to open the channel then goes back to the home screen.

Hulu channel is doing the same thing.

I was to resolve this by unplugging the TV for 30 seconds and then plugging back in. For some reason just turning tv off and on did not resolve the issue.
