Roku voice won’t turn on TV but will turn it off and adjust volume
I bought a Ruku Voice remote so I could control TV on/off and volume with one remote. I set up the device to control the TV and everything seemed to work fine. It mutes, volume up and down and turns off the TV. However, it does not turn on the TV. I went through control TV setup again with same results. My TV is a Sharp Aquos .
Sharp may have more than one set of commands in the remote's library.
Try going through the setup again, but when you reach the first setting that turns the sound off, lie to it and keep going until the sound stops next time.
