Mine has been doing this on/ off for months. It’s gotten especially bad recently where it used to go hours before blacking out but now it happens as soon as I start streaming a show. Full audio is working and the content is moving forward, but you can’t see anything.
I have unplugged, restarted, factor reset, checked for software updates, reset the individual streaming apps. Nothing works.

To help us investigate, please provide us with the following information:
- Is this occurring in all apps? Can you specify the app you're having issues with?
- A picture or video would help us understand better.
- Roku device model, serial number, and device ID. (This can all be found in Settings > System > About.)
Tracker ID and OS version, and build (press the Home button 5 times, followed by the Back button 5 times)

I hear ya! I can't say my device has been doing this a lot. However, a couple nights ago, I was on the free movies section of the Roku channel and, again, audio but no video. So, again, I did a system reset and the problem was resolved.
