VESA mount location on 32 inch Select Series inside trailer measurement
I am looking to put a 32 inch Roku Select series in my camping trailer. I have an existing VESA mount inside the trailer and I need to find out what the height is from the top of the VESA mount location on the Roku TV to the top of the TV. The trailer wall mount is designed so you can lift the TV up out of the wall mount and move it to another wall mount (like the one on the outside of the camper). So I need to make sure I have enough height to work with if that makes sense. If you are an owner of one of these TVs and could send me the measurement I would be truly grateful!56Views2likes2CommentsRoku favorite channels being saved to your account.
Roku phone support made me factory reset my TV to try to solve a glitch in the newest OS update. I didn't want to do it because I am legally blind and setting up a whole TV from scratch is a full day of tedious labor. Before I did it I asked if the favorite channels I saved under the RokuChannel Live TV would be saved to my account, or if I'd have to go painstakingly through 1100+ channels to find the 15 I care about. He ASSURED me they'd be saved to my account. They were not. This isn't just a tedious process for me. It's a whole day of squinting at the TV menu trying to decide if this is the one I liked or not, over and over, for literal hours. I've had this TV less than two weeks and it has been a glitchy nightmare from start to finish. I'm partially home kind due to autoimmune conditions and my family has all been dead for a good decade or so -- sitting at home with my TV is about all I get to do on a day to day basis and Roku's janky OS have basically robbed me of that joy, too. I didn't even want a smart TV. The movers broke my non-smart TV when they moved my house at the end of last month and this is what they replaced it with. At first I thought it was nice because of all the built in streaming channels but it isn't worth this level of frustration.62Views1like5CommentsRoku Hisense TV keeps turning on and off
My Roku Hisense T.V. just keeps turning on and off since I got an update last night. It will go to home screen and I'll go into an app but then after a few minutes it will just go back to turning on and off again. I tried unplugging it for a while and plugged it back in but it just started happening again. Currently it's been doing this for about a half hour now. Has anybody else experienced this now or in the pasted and does anyone know what's wrong?55Views0likes0CommentsHDCP error on Roku devices
Seems like the last couple months my roku devices have slowly messing up here and there, but usually able to resolve issue. The last month my roku TV, camera etc have lost features Biggest issue is the HDCP just popped up said devices not compatible, took every step out there to factory reset new hdmi cables moving to different ports etc.. Nothing has worked.. COULD IT dang is my tv already outdated. It's not 2 years old but nowadays that's old. If out of nowhere my tv is out of data etc that's not cool I'm not made of money I can't just go buy it a new TV because a update, platform change etc and shuts down TVs so it seems like having to buy a new TV every year is somehow okay or the norm.. Is there issues, updates, something going on to basically turn my smart devices. Plus if I watch everything through my roku TV wifi streaming without extra/external device. I do have stick and tried going through speakers but same message not compatible for HDCP.. I wouldn't be frustrated if this was on and off thing but not even a month and my shows that HDCP that's I've watched no problem, now can not watch them. and don't have to use an hdmi what's that mean. I love any help OTHER THAN THE SAME STEPS OVER AND OVER.. I'd sure appreciate actually help not steps104Views1like1Commentsony bravia 4K VH2 TV and ROKU equipment

I have 6 Roku devices and 5 are Ultras because they have an ethernet port. Please continue to have a product in your lineup that includes an ethernet option. I only want to use a hard-wired connection whenever possible for streaming television. I only use wi-fi for mobile devices and 1 TV and I want to keep it that way.42Views1like1CommentParental Controls screen time on Roku?
Many parents on this community keep asking for better parental controls, but Roku just says they don’t have that capability versus making it available. There is still no function to control screen time on our kids. I should be able to have my kids tv turn off after a period of time (5 hours if I choose), where they cannot access any apps without a pin after that time period. If I only want the tv accessible between the hours of 5pm-9pm…and not accessible before then (because it’s homework time or whatever the case) then I feel we should be able to control their screen time. As many class action lawsuits that are out there about kids and screen time….I’m surprised Roku isn’t actually looking further into these options and concerns from parents….just saying. Nearly every device you buy now and days have advanced parental controls…I guess ROKU needs some catching up to do, versus other electronics and devices.75Views0likes2Comments
