Roku Ultra - USB Connection
I just bought Roku Ultra. What can the USB port (next to the HDMI port) be used for, or in conjunction with? Please advise & thanks! Brian

Is there a possibility that if I connect a pair of USB headphones to this port that I might be able to listen to the audio content streamed through the unit, just like it was being sent to the tv/monitor speakers thru the HDMI ?

No, it only support USB data.
Depending on your Ultra model number (and the remote you are using), you can either connect wired earphones to the remote (if it has a 3.5mm jack), or you can connect wireless headphones to either the Ultra directly (newer models), or use the official Roku mobile app that allows you to use your mobile device as a remote and provides Private Listening via bluetooth.
