Roku Streaming Stick+ Remote Batteries Draining Fast

I bought a Roku Streaming Stick+ (Model 3810RW) about 3 months ago.  Right out of the box, it has been draining batteries quickly. It should be noted that this remote does not have the headphone feat...

I have the same problem with all my new Stick+. They drain the batteries in a week. I don't have it with my other Roku devices. Is there a good answer for this problem? Thanks.
