Hi everyone!
Status Update: We believe the absence of the power button in the Roku Mobile app is intentional.
The app has never displayed a power button for any Roku Player on iOS. Some Android devices may still show the power button, which appears to be a glitch in the app.
If you have any questions or concerns, let us know.

Hi. The power button in the android app has been available for years. We rely on it.
The most recent update removed it. We would like it back.
What additional feedback from the user community do you need in order to reconsider and put it back? As you can see from these limited comments, users want this functionality returned.
Thank you.

Thank you for your continued attention. What is your next step here so we can be aware? You mentioned getting more information and letting us know. What does that mean? Are you speaking to the android app product team to confirm it's intentional? Are you taking this feedback to the app team for a dev sprint? Like what's next?

The power button icon was intentionally removed from the Roku mobile app, and currently, we don’t have any information on whether it will be added back to the Roku mobile app.
We’ll inform you as soon as we learn more.
