Roku Froze remote worked to turn tv on now it doesn't do anything

it’s my living room tv and remote. About 1/2 hour ago my screen froze in Netflix and my remote won’t do anything to change channels or turn tv off.  ROKU on my phone is frozen too

    System Restart

    Unplug the Roku device or TV from the power source for 15 - 20 seconds and plug it again.

    Once this has been performed, the Roku device will boot and start. You can check to see if you notice any improvements.
