I am having this same issue. This seems illegal imagine if Tesla said agree to never join a class action law$uit against us or your car you paid for will no longer work. I have been a customer and fan for years but poor leadership has ruined another great brand.
Congratulations Roku, you've now managed to PISS OFF ALL of your customers. I will be reporting this to the FTC, bricking our TV's with NO viable way to "OPT OUT".
Exactly and the Opt out is not shown on the popup. You have to go and read the full terms to find how to opt out and its via a LETTER ON MAIL, yes, a letter and you have 30 days to send it.
Why would Roku coerce it's users into Accepting these terms which strip away their rights as a consumer? What is Roku hiding?
