Agreed. I guess my Roku streaming device did an update and now when I go to the home screen, I’ve have no apps to choose from. It’s blank. I restarted it. I got the apps back but soon as I clicked on Max and got out it went blank again. Then I went to settings home screen nothing happens, so I can’t revert it back to the prior home screen. This is a little ridiculous.

For some reason HBO MAX no longer shows Roku devices on their support page, which is odd since they still offer an app in the Roku channel store. But my guess is they have done the same as Disney and no longer support the Roku 4 specifically.

Hey Yarditime
It seems you're having a playback problem. Is this happening only in the Max app or across all your apps?
In the meantime, visit this link: Issues playing shows and movies on your Roku device.

I couldn’t see any of my apps on the Home Screen yesterday afternoon. I performed a system restart and then I also unplugged it and plugged it back in. In frustration I gave up yesterday and just quit using it.
Today it’s working fine.

This page says HBO Max will run on a Roku with OS 14 or higher, but Roku's legacy models table says the last OS for the Roku 4 was 11.5.

Strange that their primary device support page doesn't list Roku at all. But the OS version will certainly cause an issue with the Roku 4.
