Glad I’m not the only one! My Roku already struggles when starting up and will restart on its own so having to load something from the internet really messes with the start up even more. And it’s incredibly annoying it’s above my apps that I want and have placed in a certain way that I like. Do not like at all. Don’t force anything on me, give people the option to do what they please with their home screens. SMH.

I really want the "on now" row gone. I spent 40 minutes going through all the settings, trying to shut this c-r-a-p off. Then I come here and find an army of people having the same issue. After reading all the comments, hoping to find an answer, all I find is roku telling us "too bad, so sad, don't care what you want". Thanks roku, you're the best.

Never had this before. But now all of my Roku devices have it.
I don't want it, I didn't ask for it, and I certainly don't need it.
Get rid of it!! Or, let me/us turn it off
ETA, you actually can turn it off. I'm just ticked that it appears at all...
Settings --> Home Screen --> Recommendation Rows --> [Select] "Hide"

"NOW" you can. You used to not be able to. I don't mind them adding something when the only way to let us know they added it is to turn it on automatically, as long as we can turn it off again. Having it be there without the option to remove it broke scripting in my remotes and the only thing I use my roku tv for in my bedroom is the input so it added keypresses to get into the pc menu.
