I bought a new Roku remote to replace another. It doesn't turn the tv on. The one difference between the two is that the old one has a microphone on the center button and the new one has a quarter moon on that button. Anyone know why it wont work? I have switched batteries and the old remote works with both sets of batteries.

It appears that your replacement remote is not powering on your TV. The remote you purchased is a Roku TV remote, which is only compatible with Roku TVs and not with Roku streaming devices. Please refer to the photo below for reference.
You need to purchase a Roku voice remote that is compatible with your Roku streaming player here. Also, you can use the Roku mobile app as an alternative remote.
