gatorTNI'm not familiar with this remote model, though the one with my Ultra 4800X is the voice remote. That said, remotes communicate with the Roku player via WiFi direct rather than IF. There's a chance the problem is associated with WiFi channel congestion and the best way to find out is by installing WiFi Analyzer for Android or something similar if you use an iPhone. Once its installed tap the app and see how many others are using the same channel/band then log into the router and change to a channel with less congestion. Most people tend to use service provider equipment which by default uses 'auto' to select channels and since the router doesn't analyze congestion, it often chooses channels that are highly congested. If this doesn't work, I'd contact customer support. Best of success regardless
