Remote for non-Roku Soundbar

I have a Vizio 48" LED TV connected to my Roku Ultra LT. I use the Roku remote perfectly for the Roku functions and to turn the TV on and off. I just purchased a cheap (Walmart onn brand) soundbar to use with my TV. It connects only using an optical audio cable (no HDMI ARC). I understand that my Roku remote will not control my new soundbar. So what is the best universal remote that I could buy that will control the Roku Ultra, the TV, and the Soundbar?

  • Check ebay for One-For-All urc-7935 Streamer universal remote. Its one device remote that can control three types of devices Tv, Streamer, and Soundbar. Different sections of remote controls either tv, another section for streamer, and volume and mute buttons are for Soundbar. It is also a learning remote control, so if the preset codes don't work you can use the original oem remote to teach the commands.

  • NOT at all helpful.     My older non-roku tv came with a Roku remote that I used for the last 10 years or so, until it disappeared.     I ordered another one but was sent a newer model which does not work with my old tv.   HELP please  -- I'll buy a Roku tv when the old one dies, but I'm not ready yet.   Nevertheless, I would really really like to access Roku again now.  But how?????

What is the brand of TV you have? Are you using a Roku device at all? Or just a Roku remote?
