Remote Detector is broken and not connected to internet so can’t is my phone

the thing that does the the inputs for my Remote doesn’t work anymore (don’t know if it’s because it’s broken or because of the update trying to happen) and my TV isn’t connected to my internet because I mainly only use my ONN Roku TV for my Xbox so I just use the buttons on the side to go to the HDMI anyways I was trying to play my game this morning to be met with and Error screen for an Update which was weird considering my TV has been Offline for the last Year and a half and never should’ve tried updating in the first place and when I went to go use my remote it doesn’t work and obviously can’t use my phone to make it work so I tried using an Ethernet cable to connect to the internet so I can use my phone 1 issue though is that my TV doesn’t have an Ethernet port which is just dumb and terrible design so now my TV is completely bricked consider you can’t use the buttons on the side to navigate and I have no way of controlling my TV unless I buy a new one or if there is a solution
