Rechargeable remote not recharging

I have been recharging my Roku remote for 24 hours, the blinking light keeps blinking. How do I replace the batteries?  The case doesn’t open.

    Could you tell us the exact model of your Roku remote? A photo would be helpful. In the meantime, let's see if this works for you.

    Restart the remote

    1. If your remote has a pairing button at the back, hold the Pairing button for 20 seconds
    2. If no pairing button, press and hold Back + Home for 20 seconds
    3. Wait for the light on your remote to stop flashing
    4. Check battery level: Go to Settings > Remotes & Devices > Remotes > Your Remote > About
    5. Recharged again
