RCA audio output jacks to send audio to existing high quality audio system.

This Ultra is replacing an Xfinity digital recorder which has audio output jacks.  The Roku is a 4850R, although the Ultra I ordered from Amazon was not a factory recondition device.  Also, the video quality is not as good as Xfinity cable and I had to readjust the video controls on the Sony XBR to suit.  Video quality still not as good.

    Please note that the Roku Ultra sends audio through the HDMI cable and does not have RCA outputs. Also, the video quality would depend upon the internet connection/speed, the app being used and the content being played.

    Lastly, the video will depend on the TV and cables being used and how they are plugged in.

    The last Roku device that had RCA outputs was released in 2017.  Nothing was overlooked.  I'm sure it was a conscious decision to save a few pennies for something very few people would use.  I can't comment on the video quality issue.

      Wow, the previous answer must have been drafted by Captain Obvious.  Please note that the differences in video quality were obtained using the same Xfinity cable input and speed, the same Xfinity supplied gateway, and the same Sony XBR television.  The Roku output was plugged into HDMI1 and the Xfinity gateway output was routed through an Xfinity DVR (with RCA female pre-outs) to HDMI2.  This permitted quick and easy switching to compare the Roku Ultra streamer to the Xfinity cable video output.  There  were obvious differences and the poorer quality of the Ultra streamer was able to be at least partially corrected by substantial adjustments to the Sony XBR television video controls.  All this makes me wonder how the Roku Ultra is processing the video signal.  My Roku Streambar SE and 4K+ devices do not seem to be altering the video quality of their TVs at all.
