Why won’t my previous channel button not work on my brand new Roku remote control

Is this an actual Roku remote, or is it a third party universal remote?
I don't think I've ever seen a Roku remote with a Previous Channel button, but they are common on universal remotes. To my knowledge, Rokus have no Previous Channel function for such a button on a third party remote to activate.
Just passing along to the comment that you have never seen a Roku remote with a previous channel button. I have purchased during this last year, four Roku remotes, three streaming sticks plus an Express 4K and ALL remotes contained with the units had a Previous Channel button. Currently, for me at least, using the Express 4K, the previous channel button does NOT function what so ever. So, unfortunately, it is a continuing issue that has yet to be answered. I am still attempting to garner an answer. Thus far, nothing is resolved and I am beginning to believe Roku does not really wish to resolve the issue. Bur, that indeed may be just my frustration at continuing issue problems with Roku.
My previous Roku had a last channel button with Spectrum streaming, but it does not work with new 4+.

DannySo, we have had our streaming stick for over a year. The previous channel button worked up until recently when we had to reset the Roku stick (not sure why we had to do that but that's another story). So, when we reset the stick the volume and channel buttons worked but not the previous channel button. In order to reset the stick, we were pulling the Roku stick from the TV. Just out of curiosity we just unplugged the stick from the power source, and it worked. Can't understand why, but it does work now.
Encountered the same problem. Unplugged the stick and plugged it back in and after going to a second channel, pushing the rewind (or backup) button worked again. Thanks
You need to restart your Roku system and then the recall button will work. I just had to do this and it's fine now!

The down arrow has the functiom of the ok button and nothing else works.The onky way i can fix it is if i take out the battery and put them back in.
