Photostream app does not play recently uploaded photos until I close and reopen the app.

I use the roku photostream app as a screensaver at work to play through a slideshow of photos. I've noticed that when I upload a new photo to the stream I have to close out of the photostream app on the TV and reopen it in order for those new photos to be included. Is this a normal thing to deal with or is the app supposed to automatically update and show newly uploaded photos without having to refresh?

    Thanks for reaching us about the photo stream on your device. Yes, you may need to refresh the app to view recently uploaded photos on your device.

    I have the same issue. I want to add photos to my google photos and have them automatically come up in the photostream without having to alway refresh the app.
