Pairing remote without WiFi

Hi. I bought a new Roku Stick on vacation and did the initial setup on the hotel WiFi. It worked fine. Since then, I lost the original remote and replaced it with an identical voice remote, but now that we’re home, I’m unable to pair the new remote because the roku isn’t attached to a network. Without a remote, I can’t connect to a network… it’s a problem. I tried using the Roku smartphone app, and that won’t work either for the same reason. Please advise!

The stick doesn't have to be connected to Wi-Fi to pair the remote.  Depending on the model number of the stick, it may use a USB cable with an embedded Wi-Fi receiver.  Without that cable you can't pair a remote.
