Hi, at5!
Thanks for your first post in the Roku Community!
We noticed your recent post about an issue with your Onn Roku TV, where it suddenly rebooted after 5-10 minutes. No need to worry; we are here to assist you in sorting out this issue. To begin, we require more information about this problem on your Onn Roku TV. You mentioned that it froze while watching a movie; we may inquire if multiple channels are affected. Additionally, do you have any other Roku devices experiencing the same issue? Lastly, what troubleshooting steps have you taken thus far?
Kindly attempt these troubleshooting steps to see if they help.
- Restart your Roku TV through the system by doing this step.
- Restart your Roku player: Settings > System > Power > System restart (If you do not see a Power submenu, skip to the next step).
- Check Internet connection (Settings > Network > Check Connection) must be "Connected
Note: To improve your internet connection, try to reboot your WIFI router by unplugging it from the power outlet for at least 15 seconds.
Regards,
Elmer
It freezes on every app and shuts off, then gets stuck trying to turn back on then shuts off again and repeats the process. I tried restarting it through the system, factory resetting to see if that was the issue, plugged it into a different outlet, and it still does the same thing

Hi, at5!
Thank you for taking the time to report this issue. We appreciate your efforts in bringing this to our attention.
Based on the details you provided, the problem seems to be related to connectivity. To resolve this, please check the stability and performance of your Wi-Fi connection, as fluctuations in speed or signal strength can cause delays. Make sure your network connection is strong enough to support multiple devices.
You can try resetting your TV network by accessing the system settings.
- Press Home on your Roku remote
- Scroll and select Settings
- Select Advanced System settings
- Select Network connection reset
- Select Reset connection
Note: Before proceeding with these troubleshooting steps, please make sure that you know your network name and password.
For additional options and detailed information, please refer to the support page. How to fix internet errors and issues on your Roku streaming device/TV
If the issue still persists, you can try to establish a connection using another network, such as a Mobile hotspot.
There are two options for using a Mobile hotspot.
- If you have an iOS® device, refer to Apple's documentation on setting up a personal hotspot.
- If you have an Android™ device, refer to Google's documentation on sharing a mobile connection by hotspot.
Let us know if this step will make any difference.
Thanks,

I have the same issue! 75in ONN Roku TV. Please help! I have tried 2 Factory Resets, multiple restarts, Network Resets, different power outlets, etc.
My TV turns on, but then when I try to launch Netflix or Disney + it allows me to select my show or movie but when I press play the TV immediately turns off. And will not turn back on successfully for some minutes. Very frustrating. Just purchased this TV 2 months ago brand new.

- Same thing with me! It won’t even play the movie or show for longer than 5 minutes! I’m so over it! It’s frustrating

Abe30, if it's only two months old, you should investigate a warranty replacement from onn.

I have unplugged mine twice and it won't stop the reboot screen to even get to the home screen. It's in a continuous reboot. It has stopped even responding the the remote.

- Mine is now doing this too! It’s brand new and nothing is fixing this! Did you ever find something that worked ? Thanks so much
