Info on Roku TV model 40BA
I see that Walmart has a Roku TV with Model 40BA, but I can’t find any info on it. Does anyone know how it differs from the current model on the Roku website?

Hi DAC4,
Thanks for the inquiry, and welcome to the Roku Community!
To find information about Roku TVs, you can access the Roku website, use the Roku TV Finder tool, or check the product details on your retail platform. Other manufacturers make most Roku TVs.
We hope this helps. Please let us know if there's anything else we can do to assist you.
Best regards,
The Roku Community Team
The TV is not listed on the Roku site. I spoke to a couple of Roku reps, and they could not find it either. It is for sale at Walmart:

I’m just wondering if it’s different than the model listed on the Roku site and available at other stores.
I’m not sure how this is selected as the solution when I stated that the site has no info on this model, and no Roku reps could find it either. Seems Roku may have gotten too big to support their own products.
The model and link you posted is a 40" Roku-branded Roku TV. (Select Series Full HD 1080) It will be the same TV whether you buy it at Walmart or Best Buy or on the Roku website. (it is the same Select Series TV).
However, that particular model number came up as no longer available/out of stock on my Walmart searches. On the Best Buy website the model number is 40R3B5/40R3BX for that same TV as well as on Roku's website.

The 40BA is likely an earlier version of the same TV, or is a model number reserved strictly for Walmart Sales/partnership, but the specs indicate exactly the same TV offered elsewhere.
Ok, I think I found the difference.
Looks like from the Roku Support pages https://support.roku.com/article/10625174337047, the 40BA is listed as a 40" Full HD TV and comes with a simple Roku TV remote. (non voice remote) https://image.roku.com/c3VwcG9ydC1B/RBTV-40-QSG-2025.pdf
Looks like it is actually not in the Select Series like it was advertised on the Walmart website. The 40" Select series will come with a Voice Remote. https://image.roku.com/c3VwcG9ydC1B/RokuBrandedTV-SelectSeriesHD-QSG-Fall2023.pdf
Other than that though, specs look the same.
Thanks for the update. It looks like they must have just updated that page in the last day or 2. The support page previously only listed the 50BA, and had no mention of the 40BA. I guess that makes sense why it’s a bit cheaper. Hopefully that’s the only “downgrade” they made to the model.
I had wondered the same thing, but no, 40BA is the model# that is written on the box.
