I can’t connect to my home internet but can connect just fine to my personal hotspot

I’ve tried resetting my router and my tv but the thing is my other tv connects just fine so I’m at a loss right now. I keep getting 014.30 error code and I’ve done everything recommended. I’ve tried ...

    Go into your router settings and make sure you are limiting use to the 2.4ghz and 5ghz bands for the Roku.

    The XB8 is 6e capable which allows use of the 6ghz band. (No current Roku can see/use 6ghz, so any Roku device or Roku TV will be limited to using 2.4ghz and 5ghz).

    Also, looks like your TV is a TCL RokuTV.  Other than the Roku-branded Roku TVs (made by Roku), currently none of the manufacturer TVs that license the Roku software are wifi6(ax) capable.

    So, try adjusting/confirming your router settings.

    1. Verify that you have the 2.4ghz and 5ghz bands enabled.

    2. On both the 2.4ghz and 5ghz bands, verify that WPA2-Personal security settings are enabled. (this is for the wifi-password.  Roku devices that cannot use wifi6 cannot use WPA3)

    3. On the 5ghz band, verify that n/AC under 'Wireless Mode' are enabled.  Roku devices that cannot use wifi6 cannot use AX).

    4. For troubleshooting, you can also disable DFS channels (52-140).  However, all RokuTVs are supposed to be able to see/use DFS so just keep in mind for troubleshooting just to eliminate a router firmware issue with DFS.

    5. If having issues making changes above, try creating a Guest Network on the router with the above settings and see if you can now connect.

    At first glance, it looks like the router is probably more configured for wifi6(ax) devices and possibly has the 6ghz band (6e) enabled which is preventing connection of your RokuTV.  Just need to enable the older wifi5 (AC) protocols into the settings and you should be able to keep your wifi6  devices and Roku connected to network.  The fallback is to just create a Guest Network for Roku devices to connect to.

We are using cox internet service and I can look and see if there are any other model numbers 

XB8 is the model name
