How to reset PIN?

I am trying to add the YouTube app and it asks for my PIN but it it not working?

    To check if your Roku device is connected to your Roku account, follow these steps: Settings > System > About — at the top of the About information page, you will see the email address or the Roku account linked to your Roku device.

    If you've confirmed that it's not connected to your Roku account, you'll need to perform a factory reset on the device. After doing a factory reset, you'll have to activate it again. Visit here to learn how to activate your Roku device.

I tried that but the TV wont recognize the new setting. I don't think the TV is actually linked to my Roku account. How can I link the TV to my account?
