HDCP errors randomly occur
I keep getting HDCP errors that are random. I disconnect the Roku from power, unplug the HDMI cable from the relatively new Samsung TV, reconnect and the error clears only to pop back up again a week or a month later. Tried other HDMI cables too. Your instructions say you must use an HDCP compatible cable and that they are labeled. They are not. NOT one cable I could find is labeled HDCP. Not ONE. You say the packaging should say. It doesn't. You blame some technical glitch on HDCP because it's easier to pass the buck than kit is to actually fix the issue. I have reviewed the specifications of dozens of HDMI cables on Amazon and virtually NONE of them mention anything to do with HDCP. You say one of my new Samsung TV's HDMI connection port should say HDCP. None of them do.
