I would prefer the remote that came with my Ultra - AA battery with headphone jack - as well. If you find a source for one, or perhaps a knockoff that works, I'd be interested. Perhaps Roku will see this and see that people would buy it if they sold it again. I don't want their rechargeable one. I already have a great system of rechargeable, good-quality batteries that I use with my Roku remote. I sleep with it for white noise, so their new version wouldn't work well for me. I can simply swap out my AA batteries every few days with no interruption. Their rechargeable one makes it more problematic and less reliable in the long run. Problematic because of having to charge the entire remote before I could use it and also wondering when their rechargeable batteries will start to fail. Putting my own batteries into it is far more reliable and would last longer as I wouldn't need to replace the entire remote just to address a bad battery, just replace my own batteries.... So hey Roku... bring back the previous Ultra version Remote with headphone jack and AA batteries, please.

Roku doesn't sell AA battery remotes separately, but the Roku Streambar Pro, and all Roku branded tv's in select series all come with AA battery driven Roku Voice remotes. So they are still made, just not available separately. The Roku tv in plus series comes with rechargeable voice pro remote model.
