No, roku remotes only control tv volume. If you can get your tv controlling the volume of the soundbar via hdmi cec, then the roku remote will control the tv, which then controls your Sound bar.

Trying to figure out whether my TV volume control can somehow act as a master control for my Sonos soundbar and/or remain reliable, doesn't sound like a solution.
I simply need to be able to purchase or exchange my existing Roku remote for Roku remote that allows a simple one touch sync with my Sonos Soundbar, like I'm able to do with all my other remotes.

Roku remote WILL control the Sonos Playbar volume as long as you have the Roku plugged into the ARC HDMI port on your TV, and sync the remote on the Sonos app. Most TVs manufactured over the last 5 or 6 years will have the ARC port.
i have paired my roku voice remote pro (from streaming stick 4K+ (2021)) with my sonos beam sound bar.
the roku remote control volume button will only turn the volume up on my beam. the remote can’t lower the volume. that’s my problem
the pro remote mute button works on the beam.
