Constantly having to restart Roku…

No matter which channel I am watching, I constantly have to restart my Roku player. I keep getting a “network error” or a “network problem” or a “the channel is not available in your area” (even though I was just watching the channel). My system is up-to-date. I have to restart the Roku player to keep watching whatever I was watching.  I have AT&T internet which is not the best but this  problem does not occur if I’m streaming on my phone or tablet or computer. So I’m inclined to think the blame is with the Roku player. I’ve tried to use Roku Help Chat but after being disconnected three times, I gave up. Anyone else have this problem?
