Probably should reach out to YouTube customer support and ask them. They control the features that their app has.

Same for me. I noticed while watching a show that the live chats were not there.
i would say to JWS9518 that Roku could also screen the apps allowed on their platform and test any updates for functionality before authorizing it to be released to their costumers.

Do you realize how many hundreds or maybe even thousands of apps there are? I would say they check them to some extent, but they are probably pretty busy getting rid of ones that are malicious and/or have illegal content as well as working on their own OS and their channels to have time to extensively check third-party apps for all possibilities. However, I do think they try to work with those app makers to work out issues, but as far as the fixes are concerned, that falls on the third-party app makers.
