Channel Guide Info incorrect

This started last week with a Insignia 32" and started this week with a Westinghouse 50"

example 4.1 shows Kojak but that is not what is showing

same info on 4.4 but programing is correct

4.1 is a FOX station 4.4 is GET TV

although the guide is incorrect the correct program plays

example 8.1 shows Cold Case

same info on 8.3 but programing is correct

8.1 is an ABC 8.3 is Crime

although the guide is incorrect the correct program plays

example 11.1 shows Flipping Boston

same info on 11.3 but programming is correct

11.1 is CBS 11.3 is DABL

although the guide is incorrect the correct program plays

I have 50 channels and these are the only three that shows wrong info but plays correct programming

I have done system restart several times, rescanned numerous times, changed zip codes, removed input, reset network connection, unplugged up to 30 minutes, check for software update (version 11 Build 4193)

next option is to get a non roku tv and switch to a different streaming option tired of the ROKU issues

  • Hi everyone,

Thanks for your patience while we investigated the issue.

We believe this issue is now resolved. We would recommend rebooting your Roku TV and then re-scanning for channels again to see if you are still experiencing an issue.

Please keep us posted what you find out.

    Thanks,
    Danny

Has anyone here that has had the wrong channel/programming info showing up on the on-screen guide for antenna channels ever got it corrected through ROKU support? (I've tried everything Roku support recommended and more and the problem continues.  They have "escalated" the issue up the chain).

Everybody's channel guides see to be going KrAzY lately

Could it have something to do with all the ota stations upgrading there transmissions?

And will we all have to get new ota3 tv sets? Or another box type adapter?

It seems the recent updates, did a lot of damage.

Maybe Roku should look into the ota transition in each region, independently, because if that's the case, this will take forever to fix.

Antenna man you tube may know a lot about the this.

He certainly knows antenna's. If anyone can help with this topic it may stir new answers for Roku.

    Thanks Peace out

  • I have the same problem just started about 3 weeks ago done everything including master reset nothing works I have several channels that guide is wrong what's on channel is right but guide says a different program .

I don't have any issues. I just want to give some feedback. I would like to tell yall that I like to rescan my channels every few months or every year.  It keeps my TV updated.

  • FIXED! I have been struggling with this for almost 2 months now (OS11 4493). I FINALLY have a correct TV guide listing for TV antenna. Yippie!

I've tried literally EVERYTHING suggested, to no avail. But here's what I did this morning. I rebooted, changed zip code, restarted, blah blah blah... Everything...

    Nothing worked.

THEN, while rescanning for channels, while I would normally cancel the CABLE part of the scan (since I'm Antenna only.) This time, I let it run all the way thru Antenna AND Cable. I restarted the TV (through settings and power), and... WHAT?!!!?

It was fixed! All channels were perfect. I hope this helps someone else too.

  • Channel guide has not worked for 2 months - have the latest software. Scanned and rebooted numerous time. Time zone and zip code are correct. Help- is it time to get a new non Roku TV?

I am still seeing the same issue that I posted about 3 weeks ago. I have tired the various recommendations in this discussion and none of them have worked.

As I posted above, it was the most simple thing that fixed it for me. This time, I changed the zipcode to something else (12345), THEN back to my original zip, rebooted, and then rescanned again. Since I don't have cable (just OTA), I always hit "SKIP" after the OTA scanning. THIS TIME, HOWEVER, I let it scan all the way through cable too, then rebooted.

        Worked for me!  Good Luck!

I've changed zip code numerous times. To no avail. I just put in one that matches the zip code from the nearby city the broadcast towers are located. And it works for some channels. This used to never be a problem, like 2 months ago.

Any real solution found yet.? I gave up. Restarted and  unplugged tv, reset modem and router. Nothing seems to work

    Any new ideas?
