Searching for saving programs

Hi!  Just beginning to study ROKU options.  Is there a system that will store programs á la DVR/VCR.

thx

  • Welcome, Msmr

You seem to be interested in how to store programs with your Roku streaming device.

Roku devices don’t have a built-in DVR like the old VCRs, but you can still record and save shows using streaming services that offer cloud DVR. It’s the same idea—pick what you want to record, and it’s stored online so you can watch it later. No tapes, no hard drives, just easy access whenever you’re ready.

  • Msmr Some streaming services have cloud DVR as part of their packages, such as Spectrum, Comcast and others.  Others have On Demand type services where you can watch something after it has aired (usually a few days later).
