The gist of the original thread was as follows:
All of a sudden I can't scroll through the channels on my home page. I can use the menu on the left side of the screen, but when I try to toggle right so I can choose a channel it bypasses them all and highlights the right side of the screen.
To detail this, in attempting to select any channel the cursor defaults to the add box on the right. You cannot scroll or select channels at all, but the left side menu behaves normally. Another odd thing: you cannot select "options." The system does not respond. I also noticed that where before there 31 channels available, the system now indicates there are 34 and sometimes 37 channels. Another oddity: the Roku channel logo won't display in the channel line up. It is one of the ones visible when the channel lineup loads.
This same behavior was described back in July by several people. I have tried ALL of the suggested fixes to no avail. I have an older unit, but this behavior started a few days ago right out of the blue. According to the system function, there are no software updates pending and none has been loaded to this device since May.
So, kind of stuck. I am wary of pursuing an upgraded replacement unit if there is a possibility that this will not solve the problem (also described as an outcome earlier).
