Cannot Connect error 014.40

Pleaseaddresses. HELP? Error 014.40 I can't connect my TV to any of my four wifi adresses.

  • Hey Stacey84

Thank you for keeping us updated. I understand how tough this must be! Please note that we cannot disable the settings, as all Roku devices must be connected to the network to access streaming services. If you prefer a roku TV without the internet, you can still set up an antenna or cable to access over-the-air channels. For guidance on this process, please refer to the support page on how to set up and watch cable or satellite TV on your Roku TV system.

    Thanks,

    Hey Jetson77

    Thanks for reaching out!

The error code 014.40 means that the Wi-Fi password you entered is wrong. Please double-check and try typing it in again. If the issue persists, I highly recommend contacting your internet provider for further assistance.

If you have other concerns, feel free to contact us.

    Thanks,

        14.40 is a password issue/error.

Try changing your wifi password to exclude any special characters. (just use numbers and letters).

If using a wifi6 router, verify that you have WPA2 enabled under the Security settings. (can use WPA2/WPA3 as well, but need to have at least WPA2).
