Buzzing sound from both Roku Ultras on startup

Hello, I have two Roku Ultras that recently started doing the same thing. They buzz at startup after being off overnight. An unplug solves this, but this is so annoying. This lends me to believe there is a hardware problem and due to this, I don't think I will be upgrading or buying any more Roku devices until I can resolve these problems.

Any ideas or suggestions for permanent fixes would be greatly appreciated.

    Greetings, markingersoll​!

    Looks like you're having a problem with the Roku Ultra.

    Restart the device by going to Settings > System > System Restart to resolve buzzing on your Roku Ultra. If the buzzing persists, change the HDMI audio settings from "Auto Detect" to "Auto Passthrough" under Settings > Audio > HDMI. You may also want to try a different HDMI cable, ensure the Roku is adequately ventilated to avoid overheating, and check your TV's audio settings to rule out any issues.

    What model of Ultra do you have? There's nine of them now, with vastly different hardware across the different models. That said, I have three different Roku Ultras (4670, 4800 and 4850) and none exhibit this.

        If you're using an AVR, passthrough is absolutely the best setting for audio. With the Roku connected directly to a TV (that isn't connected to a soundbar or AVR via HDMI ARC) it's possible to stream audio that the TV doesn't support. So if you can't hear the sound on some sites, you might need to change the setting. The 4802 includes a Dolby Digital encoder, which can convert the audio to DD, which every TV will play.
